Taiyaki Cake Is Called only Natural Product in Hokkaido -Taiyaki Cakes Sapporo Yanagiya in Sapporo-

Sapporo Yanagiya (札幌柳屋) is a taiyaki cake shop at a residential area in Higashi ward, Sapporo city and was founded in 1985. Sapporo Yanagiya has a connection with Yanagiya (柳屋), because an owner originally worked at Yanagiya in Nihonbashi-Ningyocho, Tokyo (東京日本橋人形町). This shop sells only taiyaki cakes, and a menu is only taiyaki cake with smashed sweet red beans. The price was JPY 140 per one. They have been running the taiyaki cake shop in Sapporo since nearly 30 years ago, but they have still followed a tradition of Tokyo Yanagiya. I think that it is fantastic.

In the case of the natural product, because they bake taiyaki cakes one by one, they may make a timely baking taiyaki cakes. But their working hours considerably increase. It is a characteristic of the natural product that a fragrant shell was crispy texture, and bean jam spreaded all over every corner. By the way, the bean jam was homemade smashed sweet red beans.
