Parfait, Coffee, Sake and Sato
Parfait, Coffee, Sake and Sato (パフェ、珈琲、酒、佐藤) is a popilar bar founded in 2016 at a back alley of Tanukikoji Shopping Street (狸小路商店街), Chuo ward, Sapporo city. A lot of stylish bars are around here, and the place is one of popular areas. In the Sapporo, eating a parfait after drinking or having dinner (シメパフェ) is in fashion, so a lot of customers visit this bar. The Parfait, Coffee, Sake and Sato appears in various TV programs such as Matsuko Conference (マツコ会議) and Magazines, and is well-known for a popular bar with a line. They also have sister bars, Parfait, Coffee, Sake and Sasaki (珈琲、酒、佐々木), Parlor Enoki (パーラーエノキ) and Parfait, Coffee, Sake and Sato Hanare (パフェ、珈琲、酒、佐藤花れ).
The bar is Japanese-style interior decoration, and a simple design makes customers comfortable. A simple logo and a simple design menu are also some of my favourites. Counter seats and table seats are provided, so I guess that even family customers enjoy foods. But I supoose that a large number of customers do not enter the bar.
Sapporo (札幌) that about 1,960,000 people live is the largest city in Hokkaido. Although there are various theories, its origin of the name is "Dry Big River (乾いた大きな川)" in Ainu language. A population of the Sapporo is the 4th largest city after Yokohama, Osaka and Nagoya in japan, and the population accounts for 36 % of Hokkaido's population! So the Sapporo has been flourished as the center of the Hokkaido. The area of the Sapporo is 1,121.26 km2, and is about as big as Hong Kong, and is the 7th largest city in the Hokkaido. The Sapporo is also famous as a tourist city, and about 15 million people come. As for a climate, it is hot that temperature rises to nearly 25 degrees in a summer, but it is easy to live without moisture. I always feel a little cool. It is cold that temperature falls to nearly -10 degrees in a winter, and amount of snowfall sometimes has more than 1 m. Read More
I visited here with my senior came from Tokyo around 19:00 on a weekday. 6 groups of customers already savored their meal, and some vacant seats were at this time. We sat at counter seats, and read a menu. As its name suggests, sake, coffee and dishes were served, but we came to eat a parfait, and looked the menu of the parfait carefully. They served 4 types of regular parfaits, and seasonal parfaits were added depending on seasons. My senior ordered a Parfait with Chocolat Ice Cream and Mango (ショコラとマンゴー). The price was JPY 920. I ordered a Parfait with Salt Caramel Ice Cream and Pistachio Ice Cream (塩キャラメルとピスタチオ). The price was JPY 1100.
About 10 minutes later, the parfaits were served. The Parfait with Salt Caramel Ice Cream and Pistachio Ice Cream was like a cocktail, and Apple Gelle, Heavy Cream and Strawberry Mousse heaped up from the bottom, and Salt Caramel Ice Cream and Pistachio Ice Cream were topped with Strawberry Mousse, and a cookie like Kibana cookie (き花) was put on the Strawberry Mousse.
I ate a mouthful immediately, and the sour taste of the Strawberry Mousse went well with the ice cream. It was very tasty! In addition, the ice cream contained fruit, and its texture was good! The Apple Gelle on the bottom had a refreshing taste, and it might be suited after drinking. Perhaps it was the parfait for a drinker. By the way, my senior ate the parfait without chatting as if he ate a crab, so he was very satisfied. I was very happy that he was satisfied. Thanks for the tasty pafait!

By the way, Club Tourism (クラブツーリズム), a Japanese tour travel agency, provides various types of tours such as day trip tours or ordinary tours. In the case of bus tours, tourists do not drive their cars themselves, so they can savor alcohol. Choosen tourist attractions are national parks such as Rishiri and Rebun, Shiretoko, and popular tourist places such as Furano and Biei, and some activities such as hiking and fruit picking are also enjoyed depending on seasons. If you are interested in tour trips, you should visit the club tourism's website for details.
