Black Squid Ink Soup Curry -Kaizoku in Yoichi-
June 10th, 2016
Kaizoku (海ぞく) is a popular soup curry restraunt in Kurokawa-cho, Yoichi town and was founded in 2013. Kurokawa-cho is an entertainment district of Yoichi town, and a building is built around bars and Japanese‐style baran izakaya (居酒屋). By the way, Kaizoku means pirate in English. The restraunt has an atmosphere such as a Japanese‐style baran izakaya and has some counter seats and a samll raised seating area, and it is not so large. But it is interested that there are many curios here and there. I visited here around 13:30 on weekdays. There was not a customer at the restraunt, but a local person came to eat a local style soup curry right away after that, and this restraunt is seemed to be loved by local people.
I sat at the counter seat and ordered a squid ink soup curry cmbo (イカスミスープカレー) with medium hotness. The price is JPY 1000. By the way, customer is able to choose a hottness from 3 kinds of hottness, regular hot, medium hot and very hot. The squid ink soup curry cmbo had a dish of squid ink soup curry, a dish of turmeric rice, a dish of salad and a cup of lassie. It is a quite reasonable price.
About 15 minutes later, the squid ink soup curry combo was served. A soup was black. I ate a sip of a soup at once. It tasted salty peculiar to the squid ink and was tasty! Cooking ingredients were vegetables and seafood and were tasty, too! The black soup curry will make a topic to talk about so please try it.
The salad and lassie were tasty, too. The salad in particular used fresh vegetables and had crunchy texture of vegetables, too. Soy sauce-based salad dressing was exquisite taste, too.
