[Aichu Land in Naganuma] Large Soft Serve Ice Cream Is Good Value for Price, JPY 300
Aichu Land (あいチュらんど) is a popular sweet shop opened in 1996 in Naganuma located in the southeastern direction of Sapporo, and is relatively near Naganuma Onsen (長沼温泉) and Maoi Autoland. They sell soft serve ice creams, parfaits, shakes and crepes, and the shop is well-kwnon for always forming a line.
The apperance of the building looks a motif of a silo, and a typical atmosphere of Hokkaido is felt. Rest places are provided outside, and customers can use those freely, so I guess that even family customers enjoy sweets. But a parking lot is crowded.
Naganuma Onsen (長沼温泉) is a hot spring place in Naganuma town located in the eastern direction of Sapporo city. Naganuma Onsen Fureai Center (長沼温泉ふれあいセンター) is built in Naganuma Community Park (長沼コミュニティ公園). There are a park golf course, a bandstand, Maoi Automatic Campsite (マオイオートキャンプ場), Azuma Garden (東庭園), cafes and restraunts around here. Heidi Ranch (ハイジ牧場) and Maoi Onsen (馬追温泉) are relatively near here. The Naganuma Onsen is passed a rigorous screening in 1988, and has been appointed by Minister for the Environment, and is one of 15 nation insurance hot spring resorts in Hokkaido. Read More
Soft Serve Ice Cream
I visited here around 14:30 on a weekday, and a lot of vehicles already parked in front of the building. Most of customers bought Vanilla Flavored Soft Serve Ice Creams. Therefore, I bought a Vanilla Flavored Soft Serve Ice Cream, too. The regular size was JPY 300.
A shop clerk served the Vanilla Flavored Soft Serve Ice Cream in less than 3 minutes. It was large! I guessed that its height was about 13 cm. It was good value for the price. In addition, the taste was not too sweet but very rich milk, and it was just taste of the Hokkaido. It was very tasty! I feel like I understand the reason that customers always visit the shop.

By the way, Club Tourism (クラブツーリズム), a Japanese tour travel agency, provides various types of tours such as day trip tours or ordinary tours. In the case of bus tours, tourists do not drive their cars themselves, so they can savor alcohol. Choosen tourist attractions are national parks such as Rishiri and Rebun, Shiretoko, and popular tourist places such as Furano and Biei, and some activities such as hiking and fruit picking are also enjoyed depending on seasons.
