[Shukutsu Park Observation Deck in Muroran] Hakucho-Ohashi Bridge with Loop Road Is Nice View
Shukutsu Park is located in the western part of Muroran city, and is close to Road Station "Mitara Muroran (みたら室蘭)", Muroran Aquarium (室蘭水族館) and Hakucho-Ohashi Bridge (白鳥大橋). A night view from an observatoion deck is one of good night view in Muroran. In the daytime, Pacific Ocean and the Hakucho-Ohashi Bridge can be viewed, too. The Shukutsu Park has a tennis court, a multipurpose ground and the observation deck, and a parking lot and restrooms are built at the observation deck.
Express Muroran-go (高速むろらん号), an express bus, runs between Sapporo and the Muroran, and Express Hayabusa (高速はやぶさ号), an express bus, runs between New Chitose Airport and the Muroran. Besides, Rent-a-car can be rented around Higashi-muroran Station.
Muroran (室蘭) that 90,000 people live is the 11th largest city in Hokkaido and is located in the central Hokkaido and is facing the Pacific ocean. Shukutsu Park Observation Deck
Shukutsu Park Observation Deck is built on a small hill at about 70 m above sea level, and the Hakucho-Ohashi Bridge and a factory of JX Nikko Nisseki Energy (JX日鉱日石エネルギー) with Mt. Murorandake (室蘭岳) as a backdrop can be viewed. In the daytime, the Hakucho-Ohashi Bridge with a loop lin and Daikoku Island in the Pacific Ocean can be enjoyed, too. It is said that the sunset across the sea is beautiful. The observation deck has the parking lot and the restrooms. Admission free. The parking lot is free of charge.
