Prawn Ramen with Beautiful Golden Soup -Enishiya in Sapporo-

Enishiya (縁や) is a ramen restaurant in Shinsapporo, Atsubetsu ward, Sapporo city and was founded in 1997, and it is Known for making prawn ramen (海老そば) for the first time in the world. The prawn ramen was shown on the ramen contest called "Fight ! Ramen Gateway to Success (激突！ラーメン登竜門)" at the ramen museum in Shin-Yokohama. They won the finalist at the contest, the prawn ramen was born.
As for the prawn ramen, the soup broth is made from sweet prawns, and the soup is mixed with seasoning such as miso, salt and soy sauce. Ingredients are green onions, a dried laver, bamboo shoots and roasted pork fillets. By the way, customers can choose one from 2 kinds of noodles, straight noodles or curly noodles. When I ordered most popular miso flavored shrimp ramen, its color of the soup was golden. The price was JPY 780. The soup was creamy, and the mild taste of shrimp was impressive.
