Miso Ramen Yoshino (みそラーメンのよし乃) is a long-established ramen chain based in Asahikawa city, and Mr. Tsutomu Urano established it in 1968. Speaking of Asahikawa Ramen, Soy Sauce Broth Ramen is famous. But the Yohsino is famous for Miso Broth Ramen as its name suggests. The head office is in Toyooka, Asahikawa, and some branch restaurants and franchise restaurants open a business in the Asahikawa, Kitami, Kamikawa and Sapporo. The head office near Asahikawa Juvenile Classification Home is well-known for forming a line.
I visited the head office around 13:00 on a weekday. A lot of customers went in and out, and restaurant staffs looked busy. It was the Miso Broth Ramen that most of customers ordered. After all, the Miso Broth Ramen was very popular. Two-storied building with an atmosphere such as the Showa period is not small, and counter seats and table seats are provided, so I guess that even family customers enjoy their meals.

Asahikawa (旭川) that about 340,000 people live is the 2nd largest commercial city in Hokkaido, and has flourished as the center of the North Hokkaido area. Woodworks have been prosperous since the old days, and furniture is famous. Because water is clear, a liquor such as sake of Otokoyama (男山) and Godo Shusei (合同酒精) are famous, too. Popular tourist attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo (旭山動物園) and Biei (美瑛) are around the Asahikawa, so a lot of tourists use tourist bases in the North Hokkaido. As for a climate, the Asahikawa is located in Kamikawa Basin, the largest basin in the Hokkaido, so it is hot that temperature rises to 30 degrees C in a summer, and it is cold that temperature falls to -25 degrees C in a winter, and it snow very hard, too. Miso Broth Ramen
I sat a counter seat, and ordered the Miso Broth Ramen immediately. The price was JPY 750.
About 10 minutes later, the Miso Broth Ramen was served. Fried bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and green onions were on noodles. A large quantity of the fried bean sprouts caught my eyes. Soup using 4 types of Miso was salty-sweet, and was mild. They regulate the light or rich taste of the soup according to the weather and temperature. Therefore it is said that they always cook tasty ramen. The noodles made by Fujiwara Noodle Making-factory (藤原製麺) went well with the soup. Thanks for the tasty ramen!
