Katsuei Special Ramen Is Mixed Soy Sauce Soup with Miso Soup -Katsuei in Rumoi-
November 10th, 2015
Ekimae Kaiei (駅前海栄) is a popular ramen restraunt in Rumoi city located in the western part of Asahikawa city. There is a building near Rumoi station. This ramen restraunt is famous for getting the Bib Gourmand in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition. A surfboard is displayed at the entrance. An owner seems to like the sea. The name of the ramen restraunt is used the sea (海 * Kai) in Chinese charactor.
I visited here around 13:15 on weekdays. There were 4 customers at the ramen restraunt, oldies posters were put on walls. There were some tables at the depth and family customers seem to enjoy. I sat at a counter seat, and ordered Kaiei special ramen (海栄スペシャル) because soy sauce broth ramen and the Kaiei special ramen are recommended. The price was JPY 850.
While looking at the posters, I waited for approximately 10 minutes. The Kaiei special ramen was served. This soup was mixed soy sauce broth soup with miso broth soup, and it was mild like pork bone broth. Tasty! Garlic tips were tasty, too. Noodles were made by Futaba making-noodles factory (フタバ製麺). The noodles went well with the soup. I ate up it without delay.
