May 15th, 2014

Men-no-Hinauta

Men-no-Hinauta (麺のひな詩) is a popular ramen restraunt in Chuo ward, Sapporo city, and is near Sapporo Factory. Mr. Osamu Shoji (庄司 修) established it in 2009. The ramen restraunt is famous for serving Shrimp Ramen (えびラーメン). He challenged new ramen such as Dipping Noodles or Tail Soup Ramen positively. The name of ramen restraunt turned into its name called Ebidoro (えびどろ) on weekend, and served only Ebidoro Ramen (えびどろラーメン). But the owner changed with new owner in 2015, and the concept of ramen was changed, too. Creamy Chicken Broth Ramen (鶏白湯ラーメン) is popular at present. An article before changing owner is as follows.

Shrimp Miso Broth Ramen

I visited here around 11:00 on a weekday. The ramen restraunt with an atmosphere such as a Japanese restraunt bar was not so large, and only L-shaped counter seats were provided. I sat a counter seat, and asked a waitress about recommendation of the Shrimp Ramen. She replied me "Shrimp Miso Broth Ramen (えび味噌)". I ordered it. The price was JPY 750.

About 7 minutes later, the ramen was served. Roasted pork fillets, green onions, shrimps and radish sprouts were on noodles. Beautiful colors looked good, too. I had a sip of the soup. Salt and shrimp soup stock produced the rich taste soup. It was tasty! The noodles went well with the soup. Thanks for the tasty ramen!
