Salt Ramen with Light Taste and Price Is JPY 500 -Jiyoken in Hakodate-
December 12th, 2014
Jiyoken (滋養軒) is a long-established restraunt in Hakodate city and was founded in 1947. There is a building near Hakodate station. I heard a rumor that salt broth ramen (塩ラーメン) was tasty, and visited here around 11:30 on weekdays just after opening the ramen restraunt. A visitor was only me. The restraunt had an atomosphere such as a typical Japanese good old restraunt. there were some tables and family customers seem to enjoy.
I sat a counter seat and ordered the salt broth ramen. The price was JPY 500. The consumer prices significantly increase in Japan, I am glad that the price of the ramen is JPY 500.
Approximately 5 minutes later, the salt broth ramen was served. Ingredients were roasted pork fillets, bamboo shoots and green onions. Noodles were homemade noodles. In addition, soup was clear and looked beautiful. It had a light taste and Umami, it was like wrapping the salt. I did not feel that it was too salty. This was tasty!
