Soy Sauce Flavored Pork Rice Bowl -Sakuratei in Asahikawa-
September 16th, 2014
Sakuratei (さくら亭) is a long-established restraunt in Midorimachi, Asahikawa city. I heard from Mrs. Gishi that they served a traditional pork rice bowl (豚丼), I visited here around 11:00 on weekdays. The restraunt had an atomosphere such a good old restraunt. There were many tables and family customers seem to enjoy. I sat at the table and oredered the pork rice bowl.
Speaking of the pork rice bowl, Obihiro is famous. A standard pork rice bowl in Obihiro has salty-sweet sauce. Because I had an image of Obihiro's pork rice bowl, I was surprised at the pork rice bowl in Asahikawa. It tasted soy sauce from tender pork. A container was not a bowl, was the nest of boxes. This was a great difference, too.
It was tasty and I ate a lot when I ate rice and sauce together. I ate it and might suppose that possibly it was Asahikawa original pork rice bowl as well as ramen because it was Asahikawa speaking of soy sauce ramen. In addition, I found that an extra pork was famous, too, and the extra pork seemed to be worth seeing. Curry and rice or ramen as well as the pork rice bowl have originality, too.
