Hotel Bougaku-so is a small-sized onsen ryokan opened a business in 1992. An entrance fee to the bath facility is JPY 380. A restraunt is at a building, too, and visitors for day trip bath can use the restraunt. A staying is possible, too, and hikers use it. Accommodation fee is reasonable.
There are 2 indoor baths, 1 cold bath and 1 sauna at a public bathhouse bathhouse. The tiled bathhouse with a low ceiling is small but cozy. The sunny bathhouse is feeling good, and a mosaic picture that I do not know what the picutre is soften bathser's heart.
As for the indoor baths, one has hot springs, and another one has heated water. Yellow one uses heated cold hot springs with adding water, and is the size that about 6 people can take a bath. Not too hot, so it is suitable for taking a long bath.
Blue one uses heated water, and is the size that about 8 people can take a bath. The bath with hot water is hotter than the bath with hot springs. The bathhouse does not crowded very much, so you can relax.
The hot springs are sodium and calcium chloride carbonated cold spring, and are clear and light yellow and have neither taste nor smell. The sum total of the hot spring ingredients are 1.846 g/kg. Unfortunately, the hot springs are not drinkable because of circulation type baths. Shampoos and body soaps are provided at the bathhouse. A restroom and a free hair dryer are installed at a dressing room.
