Very Reasonable Mongolian Mutton Barbecue -Heiwaen Shiroishi Branch in Sapporo-
April 16th, 2014
Heiwaen (平和園) is a popular mongolian mutton barbecue (ジンギスカン) restraunt with the first grilled meat style in Japan, there is the head office in Obihiro. Their special characteristic is that a pan for Jingisukan is not used. They have restraunts around Tokachi and Sapporo. I visited Shiraishi branch (白石店) to eat the mongolian mutton barbecue with my friend.
Except mutton, customers can eat organs, tongues, diaphragm meats and etc. They are particular about serving meats for spending time and effort on cutting meat manually and seasoning meats with the barbecue sauce called "Ichozuke (一丁付)" in every order. Furthermore, the price is very reasonable, too. I was surprised at the price, JPY 520, of Jingisukan lunch.
