List of Lake Takkobu Tourist Attractions
There are the Lake Takkobu, the Tatsukobu Yumegaoka Walk and the Tatsukobu Auto Campsite. My visited places are as follows.
Tatsukobu Yumegaoka Walk
Tatsukobu Yumegaoka Walk of 2.3 km length has wooden paths and paths, and the Yumegaoka Observatory at the end of the walk is built on a small hill at about 80 m above sea level, and some paths are badly drained, so you had better wear your shoes that you would not mind getting dirty. It took me about 40 minutes on foot because of very uneven paths, and I got very tired especially on the last steep steps. But a view from the Yumegaoka Observatory had refreshed me completely. Unfortunately, I was not able to see a running train thorugh the Kushiro-Shitsugen Wetland, so I want to see the train next time. By the way, the Lake Takkobubuma can be hardly seen. Admission free. A parking lot is free of charge. You had better bring an insect repellent because a lot of gnats try to bite your skin in a summer.

By the way, Club Tourism (クラブツーリズム), a Japanese tour travel agency, provides various types of tours such as day trip tours or ordinary tours. In the case of bus tours, tourists do not drive their cars themselves, so they can savor alcohol. Choosen tourist attractions are national parks such as Rishiri and Rebun, Shiretoko, and popular tourist places such as Furano and Biei, and some activities such as hiking and fruit picking are also enjoyed depending on seasons. If you are interested in tour trips, you should visit the club tourism's website for details.
