[Kamisunagawadake Onsen in Kamisunagawadake] Day Trip Bath Can Be Enjoyed at Panke-no-Yu

Kamisunagawadake Onsen

Kamisunagawadake Onsen (上砂川岳温泉) is a hot spring place in Kamisunagawa town located in the southwestern part of Asahikawa city. Only Panke-no-Yu (パンケの湯) is built along Hokkaido Road 115 at the foot of Goryoyama (御料山). The Panke means "downstream" in Ainu language. The building is adjacent to Former Kamisunagawa Kokusai Ski Resort (上砂川岳国際スキー場), and there are Kamisunagawadake Japanese-style Garden (上砂川岳日本庭園), Okuzawa Campsite (奥沢キャンプ場) and Okuzawa Park Golf Ground (奥沢パークゴルフ場) around here. Unfortunately, restraunts, cafes, cafes, souvenir shops and convenience stores are not built.

Visitors can take a day trip bath at the Panke-no-Yu.

Panke-no-Yu

Panke-no-Yu is a small-sized onsen hotel founded in 1970, and a building was renewed in 1997. An entrance fee to a bath facility is JPY 500. Restraunt "Panke" (レストラン「パンケ」) is at the building, too, and visitors for day trip bath can use the restraunt. A staying is possible, too.

There are 1 indoor bath, 1 whirlpool bath, 1 cold bath and 1 sauna at a large public bathhouse. The sunny tiled bathhouse with large windows is feeling good. A floor-to-ceiling height is about 10 m, and a feeling of pressure can not be felt, and it is comfortable.

The indoor bath is the size that about 15 poeple can take a bath, and uses heated cold springs. The water temperature is around 40 C. The whirlpool bath is the size that about 4 poeple can take a bath, and uses heated water. The water temperature is around 39 C. The cold bath uses cold springs, and the water temperature is around 11.4 C.

The hot springs are sodium bicarbonate cold spring, and are clear and light yellow and have neither taste nor smell, and are not drinkable because of circulation type baths. The sum total of the hot spring ingredients are 1.203 g/kg. Shampoos and body soaps are provided at the bathhouse. A restroom and free hair dryers are installed at a dressing room.
