Lined Gingko Trees with Fall Foliage in Hokkaido University (北海道大学イチョウ並木) is a beauty spot for fall foliage near Sapporo Station. It takes about 1 minute from Sapporo Subway Namboku Line Kita-12Jo Station (地下鉄南北線「北12条駅」) to here. The Hokkaido University is commonly called Hokudai (北大), and becomes popular nationwide. The total site area of the Hokkaido University include various forests used for research is about 660 km2, and is comparable with about 1/570 of Japanese land. It is very vast site.

The Hokkaido University is a national university in Kita ward, Sapporo city, and is close to the Sapporo Station. Its common name is Hokudai (ほくだい). About 70 gingko trees are planted along a road with about 350 m in length from Kita 13jo Gate (北13条門) to a road running north-south.
