Tomita Farm Milk-no-Yume
Tomita Farm Milk-no-Yume (冨田ファーム ミルクの夢) is a dairy product direct sales shop facing National Route 239 in Okoppe town located in the northeastern direction of Asahikawa city, and is near Utsu Shrine (宇津神社), and has been opened since 2008. They serve Cheese, Yogurt, Milk, Soft Serve Ice Cream. The shop is small but cozy, and a showcase is at the shop. A place for custmers to enjoy foods and drinks is not provided at the building.
Kashizuku Milk, Mori-no-Yogurt and Tomu Cheese
The shop was considerably far from the city area, so it was hard to look for this shop. Fortunately, I found it, and visited here immediately. I asked a shop clerk about shop's recommendation, and she told me "Milk named Kashizuku (香しずく) is great, and is made from milk that cow has eaten pesticide-free grass for 20 years. This milk was satisfied by a very important person. So famous mlike brand dairy farmers came to the Tomita farm to look for a secret of the taste of the milk".
So I purchased the Kashizuku Milk, Mori-no-Yogurt (杜のヨーグルト) Yogurt Drink and Tomu (冨夢 6ヶ月熟成）Cheese Matured for 6 months. I decided immediately to drink the Kashizuku Milk enraptured the heart of the vip on a sidewalk. It was tasty! The taste was very rich. Milk component became roughly solid on the surface of the milk, and it was slightly sweet. The taste was mild.
I brougt the Mori-no-Yogurt Yogurt Drink and the Tomu Cheese back parents' home in Nayoro, and decided to eat those. The Tomu Cheese got the gold prize in All Japan Natural Cheese Contest 2012 was a low-sodium gorgonzola cheese, and I thought that it had to go well with a liquor. That was also tasty!
Then I drinked the Mori-no-Yogurt Yogurt Drink. It was yogurt fermented by only salt and milk. Saccharide was not contained at all. The thin liquid looked like milk, and it was mellow mild. The taste was weak sour. I thought that the yogurt was good for people's body. The Tomita Farm declared "No technique is superior to raw materials" in a slogan of the farm. I thought so, too. Thanks for the tasty dairy products!
