Spicy Curry Ramen -Aji-no-Daio Muroran Head Restaurant-
May 28th, 2014
Aji-no-Daio Muroran head office (味の大王室蘭本店) is a long-established ramen restaurant in Chuo-cho, Muroran city and was founded in 1971. It is said that Aji-no-Daio Tomakomai produced curry ramen (カレーラーメン) and Aji-no-Daio Muroran had spread curry ramen in Muroran. Approximately 30 ramen restaurants serve the curry ramen in Muroran and the curry ramen is very popular.
I visited here around 16:00 on weekdays. There were 2 customers at counter seats at this time. The ramen restraunt had an atmosphere such as a typical Japanese restraunt. There are some tables and family customers seem to enjoy. I sat at the table and ordered the curry ramen at once. The price was JPY 750.
Ingredients were sliced roasted porks, fried bean sprouts, green onions, cabbages and a dried laver. Homemade noodles were thick and curled. Of course the soup was curry flavor. It was a tangy taste and was a rich taste. I felt that the soup was too salty. It is the ramen for rich taste loving person to want to eat. My body warmed very much because of a salt or a spice.
