Conveyor Belt Sushi Has Abundant Rare Sushi without Turning around -Kanigen in Abashiri-

Kanigen (かに源) is a popular conveyor belt sushi restraunt near Abashiri station. A building is not so large, but it has an unique atmosphere. I visited here to be on time for night opening hours at 16:30 on weekdays. A visitor like regular customer enter the building immediately after my entering.
An owner said to me "This seat, please" and I sat at a counter seat. There are the counter seats and some tables at the restraunt, so family customers seem to enjoy. This is the conveyor belt sushi restraunt, but sushi does not put on the conveyor belt. At the this conveyor belt sushi restraunt, the customers must order with an order form or voice to keep sushi fresh. Recommended sushi and seasonal sushi are hung on walls. They have a wide variety that I have never seen at other conveyor belt sushi restraunts. The owner told me that many tourists came and he served rare sushi for them to be pleased. I was very happy about his consideration.
I oreded sushi as follows. Raw Oyster fishing in Akkeshi (厚岸産生かき * JPY 324), Takomanma (Marinated Spawn of Octopus Conispadiceus) fishing in Abashiri (網走産蛸まんま * JPY 216), Gray Rockfish fishing in Abashiri (網走産青ソイ * JPY 216), Omelet with Crab Meat (かにの卵焼き * JPY 216), Abdomen of Crab (カニのふんどし * JPY 162), Whelk (つぶ貝 * JPY 162), Homade Brown Meat Sauce (カニみそ * JPY 324), Raw Mackerel (生さば * JPY 324), Marinated Herring and Herring Roe (にしんの親子 * JPY 216) and Tilapia (ちか鯛 * JPY 216). A soup bowl is on the house.
The Gray Rockfish that I have never eaten inhabits the Sea of Okhotsk. It has white flesh and tastes like ocean perch. The chewy flesh was tasty. Abdomen of a crab that I have never eaten had the texture like Okhotsk (boiled fish paste with crab meat flavor). Takomanma is marinated spawn of octopus conispadiceus. we cam eat it without soy sauce. I have never eaten it and it tasted delicate.
As for the marinated herring and herring roe, the marinated herring combine with herring roe. Those were good color and had chewy texture. It was the first time I heard the tilapia with white flesh native to Nile River in Egypt after searching on the internet. The tilapia is cultivated in Teshikaga town and Shihoro town, Hokkaido and is taste like a sea bream.
Sushi of Kanigen has features such as small-sized and being easy to eat. All the sushi that I have never eaten such as the Takomanma, the Gray Rockfish and the Abdomen of Crab are very nice, and I knew a reason why Kanigen was popular. king salmon and Sea Urchin have a good reputation, so I will try to eat those next time.
