Hand-made soba Mansaku (手打ちそばまん作) is a popular buckwheat noodle restraunt founded in 2004 in Kamifurano town located in the southern direction of Asahikawa city, and is near Miharashidai Park (見晴台公園). Mr. Nobunari Hirayama (平山 信成) is a restraunt owner. He established the Mansaku after trining his cooking skill at buckwheat noodle restraunt in Sapporo. They garnered one star in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition and Hokkaido 2017 Special Edition.
Because I heard that the Mansaku is crowded very much at lunchtime, I visited here around 11:00, just opening hour, on a weekday. I was the first customer on that day, and took off my shoes at an entrance, and entered the restraunt. The ceiling is high, and the interior decoration has white walls and woods. The warmth of the woods can be felt. The restraunt is very stylish. All seats are table seats, so I guess that even family customers enjoy meals.
Kami-furano has rich nature, and Kanno Farm, Flower Land Kamifurano, Miyama Pass Lavender Garden and Hinode Park are relatively famous tourist attractions. Hot springs gush out in the Kami-furano, too, and Fukiage Onsen, Tokachidake Onsen and Furanui Onsen are popular.

A type of the hot springs is acidic calcium and sodium sulfate chloride spring, and its characteristic is sour taste. That has a lot of the meta-silicic acid content, so it seems to be effective for beautiful skin. Unfortunately, restraunts, cafes, cafes, souvenir shops and convenience stores are not built. Nonstop buses do not run from Sapporo, New Chitose Airport or Asahikawa. Kamirurano town bus from Kamifurano Station to Fukiage Onsen, and here are Tokachidake Line Time Table and Route Map. There is a trailhead to Tokachidake Mountain Range (十勝岳連峰) at the end of a road, and a free parking lot and a restroom are built, too. The trailhead is next to the Yumoto Ryounkaku, and the Kamihoro-so is located under there little. The climate is cool in a summer, and a large temperature gap is great for good buckwheat, and the buckwheat production of the Hokkaido is increasing. I sat at a table seat, and read a menu. Because I was curious about buckwheat noodles with sliced ducks and green onions (鴨南蛮せいろ), I ordered it. The price was JPY 1200.
About 10 minutes later, the buckwheat noodles with the sliced ducks and the green onions were served. A white bowl of noodle soup stood out at the wooden interior decoration very much. I ate the buckwheat noodles immediately. The hand-made buckwheat noodles using buckwheat flour produced in Hokkaido were chewy. Fat of duck came oozing through just seasoned soup with not too salty, and it was tasty when I dipped a little buckwheat noodles to the noodle soup, and eat it. Because it is appetizing dish, I recommend a large serving of buckwheat noodles. Finally a cup of buchwhheat tea (そば茶) was served, too, and I thoroughly enjoyed the buckwheat. Thanks for the tasty meal!
