Crunchy Breaded Pork Cutlet is Tasty -Miyabi in Obihiro-
April 26th, 2015
Tonkastu Miyabi (とんかつ雅) is a famous breaded pork cutlet restraunt (とんかつ店) in Obihiro city. There is a building near Obihiro station. It was founded in 2000. It is known for garnering the Bib Gourmand in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition. I visited here around 13:00, but only 1 vehicle could park and a parking lot was almost full. As I expected, Tonkastu Miyabi was very popular.
The restraunt had an atomosphere such as a typical Japanese restraunt. There were some tables and family customers seem to enjoy. I sat at a counter seat and ordered a pork loin combo meal (ロースカツ定食) with rice, a cup of miso soup and a dish of pickle. The price is JPY 970. The pork loin combo meal are reasonable for lunch.
Approximately 10 minutes later, the pork loin combo meal was served. The pork cutlets were very crunchy and were frying a crisp. It is good not to be greasy. The breaded pork cutlets were made from 20 pieces of pork loin that piled up and would have soft mouthfeel. It was tasty! In addition, a heap of thinly shredded cabbages were nice, too.
