Barbecue Using Meats and Vegetables Produced in Tokachi That Got Bib Gourmand in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition -KAGURA in Memuro-
July 16th, 2016
Barbecue Kagura is a famous barbecue restraunt in Memuro town on the west of Obihiro city and opened a business in 2008. A building was a red brick warehouse that was used by a farm co-op once, and they serve meats and vegetables produced in Tokachi now, so got the Bib Gourmand in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition. I visited here around 17:00 on weekdays and sat at table. All seats are tables, and family customers seem to enjoy.
As soon as I took a seat, a waitress ask me what drink I order, so I ordered a non-alcoholic beer. Successively, I wanted to eat a lot, so I ordered a assorted meats (meal for three or four) and a radish salad with dried young sardine. The price was JPY 4150 in total. She told me later that the assorted meats had half‐size and she recommended the half-size assorted meats and recommended meats.
About 10 minutes later, the assorted meats(rib and rump of Mirai Memuro beef, fatty pork, chicken and mutton) were served with name tags. The vegetables produced in Tokachi were served, too, and a dish of steamed potato and a dish of cabbage were on the house this time. The meats were grilled immediately in approximately a minute, and broth came out when I bited into one. It was tasty! I liked textures of fresh chicken and cabbage in particular. Bites got more fun. I was satisfied with all vegetables and meats very much.
