Speaking of the Santoka, Salt Broth Ramen using white pork bone broth soup is famous, and the Santoka get a following worldwide fans.

My visited place is the head office on the 1st floor of Sasaki Building (ささきビル). The ramen restaurant is not so large, and the interior decoration is new. Counter seats and table seats are provided, so I guess that even family customers enjoy meals.

Asahikawa (旭川) that about 340,000 people live is the 2nd largest commercial city in Hokkaido, and has flourished as the center of the North Hokkaido area. Woodworks have been prosperous since the old days, and furniture is famous. Because water is clear, a liquor such as sake of Otokoyama (男山) and Godo Shusei (合同酒精) are famous, too. Popular tourist attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo (旭山動物園) and Biei (美瑛) are around the Asahikawa, so a lot of tourists use tourist bases in the North Hokkaido. As for a climate, the Asahikawa is located in Kamikawa Basin, the largest basin in the Hokkaido, so it is hot that temperature rises to 30 degrees C in a summer, and it is cold that temperature falls to -25 degrees C in a winter, and it snow very hard, too. Salt Broth Ramen
I visited the head office around 17:00 on a national holiday. It had an atmosphere such as a typical ramen restraunt. No customers came. I sat a table seat, and read a menu. Recommendation of the ramen restaurant was the Salt Broth Ramen (塩ラーメン). I ordered it. The price was JPY 820.

About 5 minutes later, the Salt Broth Ramen was served. While I was waiting for the ramen, 5 groups of customers came to the ramen restraunt in succession. I thought that the Santoka head office was really popular after all. A roasted Pork Fillet, bamboo Shoots, a cloud ear mushroom, a kamaboko with spiral whirlpool-like pattern, green onions and a small Japanese ume were on noodles. I hear that the idea of the Salt Broth Ramen comes from a slim fair skinned woman with thick-color lipsticks. A small Japanese ume only on the Salt Broth Ramen stands out in milky white soup, and I think that it is beautiful color combination.

I had a sip of the soup immediately. The pork broth soup was light taste, but it had Umami, and was tasty. he noodles made by Kato Ramen (加藤ラーメン) went well with the soup. It was also delicious! I savored the real taste of the ramen that world people want to eat. Thanks for the tasty ramen!
