Dried Chum Salmon Ramen Is Filled with Taste of Hokkaido -Ichikura in Asahikawa-
May 25th, 2015
Ichikura head office (一蔵本店) is a ramen restraunt in 3 Jo-dori, Asahikawa city. A building is comparatively near Asahikawa station. It was founded in 1990. The ramen restraunt is famous for getting the Bib Gourmand in MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 Special Edition. I guess that the ramen which is made stock with the dried chum salmon produced in Hokkaido in particular is very rare.
I visited here around 12:30 on weekdays to eat the dried chum salmon ramen. There are many tables and family customers seem to enjoy. Many school trip students came, too at that time. This ramen restraunt was popular as I expected. I took a window seat and ordered the soy sauce broth ramen with dried chum salmon soup (鮭節醤油ラーメン). The price was JPY 900.
Approximately 10 minutes later, the soy sauce broth ramen with the dried chum salmon soup was served. The appearance looked common ramen, but I had a sip of ramen soup, and it surely tasted the salmon. Somehow, I felt the atmosphere such as the buckwheat noodles. The noodles are homemade noodles, and wheat flour produced in Hokkaido is 100% used. This ramen is filled with the taste of Hokkaido.
