Vast Land Can Be Felt with 360-Degree View -Horonobe Visitor Center-
October 24th, 2015
Horonobe Visitor Center (幌延ビジターセンター) in the southern part of Shimo-sarobetsu plain (下サロベツ原野) is located in the southern part of Sarobetsu plain (サロベツ原野), Rishiri‐Rebun‐Sarobetsu National Park (利尻礼文サロベツ国立公園). There is Horonobe Visitor Center Observatory with 25 m in height near a building, and the Sarobetsu plain, Mt. Rishirifuji and power generating mechanisms for Otonrui Wind Power Generation can be looked over. But if people have a fear of heights, it will be very scary. I was very scary. Admission free. A parking lot is free of charge.

When I read Tweets, Horonobe Visitor Center seems to be popular.
Land around the Horonobe Visitor Center is called Shimoosobetsu-genya-enchi (下オソベツ原野園地), and alpine plants, damp plants and aquatic plants blossom along wooden paths built through high-rise damp plains and low-rise building damp plains from a spring to an autumn, and wild birds that inhabit the grassy plain sing. Tourists can go around Naganuma Swamp (長沼). But unfortunately, the wooden paths to Panke Marsh (パンケ沼) were broken on that day. There is an exhibition room of the Shimoosobetsu-genya-enchi, an observatory and a restroom at the Horonobe Visitor Center, too. Admission free. A parking lot is free of charge.
