Beautiful Ponmoshiri Island and Grassy Scenery -Fujinoenchi Observatory in Rishiri Island-
October 3rd, 2015
Fujino-enchi Observatory (富士野園地) is a viewing point in the northern part of Rishiri Island (利尻島) and is next to Yuhigaoka Observatory (夕日ヶ丘展望台). A grassy plain spreads out at the land, and Yezo Daylilies seem to be in full bloom from June to July, and a beautiful scenery seems to be seen. Tourists can see Ponmoshiri Island (ポンモシリ島) that means small island in Ainu language, Rebun Island and Yuhigaoka Observatory at the sea. If flowers do not bloom, it has little highlight. The tourists should visit here in a flowering season. There is a restroom at a parking lot. Admission free. A parking lot is free of charge.
