Lavender Field on Back of Tokachidake Mountain Range -Miyama Pass Lavender Garden in Kamifurano-

Miyama Pass Lavender Garden (深山峠ラベンダーオーナー園) is an owner system lavender field on the top of Miyama Pass. They recruit owners that are paid JPY 10,000 a year for keeping the lavender field. If people become the owners, there seem to be various privilege such as people's name posted at the field and getting presents. Miyama Pass Observatory (深山峠展望台) is built, too, and tourists can look over Tokachidake Mountain Range (十勝岳連峰) and Daisetsuzan Mountain Range from a viewing platform. The lavenders are in full bloom in July. Admission free. There is a tourist information center at the observatory, too. There is not a parking lot in the site, and the tourists can park their cars at rest station The memory of Furano (レストハウス「想い出のふらの」) and Trick Art Museum.

In addition, there is Miyama Pass Art Park near the top of the Miyama Pass, too. The tourists can enjoy a view of Kamifurano from Ferris wheel with 50 m in height. There is Trick Art Museum in the site, too. It opens from April to November. There are the parking lot and a restroom in the site.
