Originally there was a hot spring facility run by Shibetsu town, but it gave up its business, and only bathtubs are left. Local people manage it and bathers can take a bath free now. A restroom is a little way from a dressing room.

There are 2 open-air bathroom for men and women, there is 1 open-air bath at the bathroom. The open-air bath is the size that about 3 people take a bath. Fresh free flowing hot springs are overflowing from the bathtub. But, with the situation as it is, the bathers probably will not be too hot to take a bath because water temperature of hot spring source is about 60 C. The bathers adjust the temperature of the hot springs with spouting water from the hose myself. The bathers can take a bath comfortably while hearing the murmuring of a river and birdsong because the river flows near open-air bath surrounded by nature.
