Largest Cherry Tree in Iburi District -Horomoe Large Cherry Tree in Muroran-

Horomoe Large Cherry Tree (幌萌の大山桜) is a Yezo mountain cherry (エゾヤマザクラ) in Horomoe-cho, Muroran city and is the large cherry tree with 16 m in height and about 180 years old in Iburi district. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in early May and is lit up at a best viewing season. Garyu Korean Hill Cherry (臥龍の霞桜) is planted near the Horomoe Large Cherry Tree, too, but cherry blossoms does not seems to come out. Admission free. A parking lot is free of charge.
